Music replacements

I would like to replace the Terran and Protoss music in my mod. Under what filename should I put the new music files? (the full filename with all the "\"s and stuff)

Re: Music replacements

music\tdefeat.wav
music\title.wav

The rest of files and their paths can be found in "INSTALL.exe," from StarCraft's (original) CD. Just open it up with WinMPQ.

Re: Music replacements

Okay, thanks. But I now have another question: I want to use a pretty big file for the theme music and the Terran music. Given that there are three Terran music files (music\terran1.wav, music\terran2.wav, and music\terran3.wav), this means that I'll have to put four copies of the music in the MPQ, which greatly raises the filesize. I seem to remember someone once saying that there's a better way to do it involving changing where SC reads its files from. Does anyone know of this technique?

EDIT: There used to be a tutorial on campaigncreations which explained how to do this, but it seems to have been removed. (When I checked their tutorials database the only thing that was visible was Mesk's modding bible.)

Re: Music replacements
